Our mission is to help new and beginner campers take their first camping trip this summer without stressing out about food and planning.

🧘‍♀️ We believe everyone needs more calm and nature in their life right now. Clear out all the noise and distractions. Camping does just that! But also teaches you an appreciation of nature and fosters a strong mind and relationships.

🏕 Due to the pandemic, many people are turning to local travel this year, which includes camping. We expect a lot of new campers to give camping a try this summer.

📦 The Product

Some people enjoy planning their meals, spending time and effort preparing everything days before their trip. But others, like us 😅, find this process frustrating and time-consuming.

That’s why, we want to create a meal kit specifically designed for car camping – so that you don’t even have to think!

🚀 Where are we now?

We just launched our landing page with a goal to validate the demand and find our early adopters who can help us co-create this camping meal kit!

✨ How it all started

My co-founder Shehzad and I, have known each other for a few years and we always wanted to work on something together. Knowing my interest in camping and nature, he pitched me his Camping essentials box idea. The idea immediately resonated with me, because over the years of camping, I have developed a camping box where I keep all my camping equipment and supplies. - So we decided to test this idea and see if there is a business for it.

After conducting extensive customer research and talking to new and experienced campers about their thought process when it comes to planning a camping trip and purchasing equipment we uncovered these insights:

• New campers don't want to invest in camping equipment upfront because they don't know if they will stick with it or not
• The majority of urban dwellers have storage space constraints
• For all the above reasons, they prefer renting their equipment or borrowing from friends and family.

Based on the buying behaviours and unsustainable business model, we decided to pivot.

While talking to customers, we uncovered an interesting insight: some people find meal planning the most frustrating part of camping. - this was our A-Ha moment!💡

We thought, what if there was a meal kit specifically designed for camping! - And that's the new hypothesis we are testing!
