- I led this mobile product through all stages of the product life cycle from strategy, ideation and design to development, testing, launch and analytics reporting.
- I was responsible for defining the scope with various groups of stakeholders, defining a roadmap, allocating resources, setting timelines and reporting on the progress and metrics.
- I created and managed the backlog which was continuously prioritized with input from the team and stakeholders.

📱 Product
This is the first internal RBC mobile app that was published in the public iOS and Android stores.
Covid-19 created new challenges for RBC employees returning to the office during the pandemic. To ensure employees’ safety, RBC created a process that enabled employees to come to the office safely following all corporate, federal and provincial COVID-19 requirements.
✅ The OneRBC mobile app played an essential role in every employee's work life as they were adjusting to the new realities of life during the COVID-19 pandemic.
✅ Over the last 2 years, OneRBC has helped over 50,000 employees globally to return to the office safely.
📲 OneRBC main features and flows
👉 Health pre-screener and office pass
- Employees complete a form before coming to the office
- The form has a set of rules and logic that verifies answers against COVID requirements.
- If cleared, the app generates an office pass which employees then use to enter the office.
👉 Desk Scheduler and Check-in
- Once in the office, employees needed to check in to the desk through the app.
👉 Radar
- The innovative feature that helps employees maintain social distancing when in the office.
- When enabled, Radar will track close contacts using Bluetooth proximity.
- Employees get close contact notifications, reminding them to keep a social distance.
- Employees get a close-contact analytics report at the end of the day with data like minutes spent in close proximity and devices they have interacted with that day.
